DIRECTION OF MIXING :

Make a paste of ULTRA BOND EX-333 PVA, diluted with an equal amount of water, cement, and fine sand and apply as an adhesive for fixing plasterboards, polystyrene tiles, ceilings, and walls. If the surface is highly porous, apply a primer coat of EX-333 PVA mixed with water in the ratio of 1:3. The powder mixed with water on-site applies to a slab that is drenched with water the day before. If the bonding surface is more porous, add three times the amount of water to EX-333 PVA and prime the surfaces. As a bonding agent for screeds, plasters, and renders, the surface shall be sound and free from all contaminants, such as oil, grease, paint, etc. To prepare the mixture and apply it to the sealing of the surface, dilute ULTRA BOND EX-333 PVA with water in the ratio 1:3. Create a bond between old and new concrete by adding two more coats in the same method of the render, screed, or plaster. For heavy rendering and cementitious toppings, make the primer by diluting EX-333 PVA with water in the ratio 1:3, and apply the coat to the surface and seal it. Mix the ordinary cement, clean washed sand, and EX-333 PVA in a ratio of 1:1:1 to prepare the render coat. To get a slightly sticky paste, stir the mixture well and apply it as the prime coat. Recommend a minimum of 10 to 15 liters of additives per 100 kg of cement for the entire process.

INSTALLATION:

Surface preparation for a bonding agent:

When an existing concrete surface has laitance (a dusty layer of cement and fine aggregates) or is contaminated with spillages such as oil or grease, then the bonding agent will not work well and give a result. Before the application begins, the surface preparation is very vital to ensure the bonding strength of the bonding agent to the concrete surface. The surface should be dry, free of any cement laitance, oil, and grease, curing compound, and any other contaminants. This intensive cleaning involves pressure washing or vacuum shot blasting. It is not water-resistant. Clamping is required for 30 minutes to 1 hour to set the glue. The curing time is 18 to 24 hours. School glue, a type of white glue, dries more slowly. Inexpensive and nonflammable, PVA glue dries clear.

APPLICATION AREAS :

ULTRABOND EX-333 PVA is a polyvinyl acetate based polyvinyl alcohol suspension used as a multi-purpose bonding agent, surface sealer, timber, wallboards, paper, and admixture for cement and mortar. It can also be diluted as a primer and PVA sealer to improve adhesion and cure. It is odorless, non-toxic, water-insoluble resin, white but dries colorless. This super-strong concrete bonding adhesive is the best choice for instances where the top surface contains hard aggregates or heavy traffic. It is also resistant to heat, cold, water, and chemicals with great flexibility. It also cures much faster than 2 part epoxy.

PRECAUTION:

With all chemical products, you should exercise necessary caution. Make sure to use protective clothing such as gloves and goggles handling chemical products. Treat any splashes to the skin or eyes with fresh water immediately. In case any of the products are accidentally swallowed, do not induce vomiting, call for medical assistance urgently. Ensure that the product container is available for the medical attendant to examine any relevant instructions and content details.
