POLYMER MODIFIED TILE & STONE ADHESIVE

Universal fiber modified, thin bed and middle bed adhesive for application of ceramic tiles, vitrified tiles and natural stones on wall & floor in interior and exterior applications.

DIRECTION OF MIXING:

Mix 20Kg (1 bag) of ULTRA BOND DIAMOND EX-450 with 5 liters of clean water. Stir the mixture well to obtain a lump-free smooth compound. Make the surfaces free from dust and any greasy substances as it reduces the bonding strength. During the process at the site, the quantity of water shall be adjusted to get the desired consistency. Stir well to get the homogeneous paste. It can be done by hand or slow speed electric drill with a speed of less than 300 rpm. Allow tiling to set for 24 hours before grouting or any foot-traffic.

INSTALLATION:

Apply Ultra BOND DIAMOND EX-450 on the substrate around 1 m² at a temperature of 23°C within 25 minutes. It is good to keep a minimum of a 2mm gap around the tiles. After 25 minutes, an outer skin forms, preventing the tile from adhering with the adhesive properly. So any adjustments on the tiles shall be done on or before the open-time. Grouting of the tile joints shall be done after 24 hours only using ULTRAPOXY epoxy gout / Ultra Joint Filler EX-20. Cured materials are to be removed mechanically with proper tools. Clean the tools with water after each use.

PRECAUTION:

The tile adhesive ULRA BOND DIAMOND EX-450 contains cement powders. When it mixes with water, alkalis are released, which harm our skin. Hence during the process, extreme ventilation is suggested in those areas. When products are handled, protect hands and eyes using gloves and goggles. Treat any splashes to the skin or eyes with fresh water immediately. For any emergency situations, medical assistance should be taken without wasting time. Ensure the availability of the product container for the examinations of any relevant instructions and content details.

ULTRA BOND DIAMOND EX-450 is a polymer modified and highly deformable cement based non-shrinkable white power used as multipurpose tile adhesive. It offers outstanding bonding of tiles with cementitious surfaces. This adhesive is specially designed for heavy duty applicants for fixing vitrified tiles, slabs, natural stones and large size tiles on interior and exterior wall and floor surfaces. It is highly suggested for both exterior & interior areas, because of its water and temperature resistance capacity.
