DIRECTION OF MIXING:

When using Ultra BOND EX-404, a suitable mix design has to be considered, and trial with local material sources. Don’t add Ultra BOND EX-404 to dry cement. Excessive water addition or overdosing may cause bleeding or segregation. If frozen or precipitation has occurred, use the Ultra BOND EX-404 after thawing slowly at room temperature followed by intensive remixing. However, the optimum dosage of Ultra BOND EX-404 to meet specific requirements should always be determined by conducting laboratory and batch trials. The normal dosage ranges between 0.3 to 2.0 percent by weight of total cement or binder content.

INSTALLATION:

The standard rules of good concreting practice, concerning production and placing, are to be followed. Laboratory trials shall be carried out before concreting on site, especially when using a new mix design or producing new concrete components. Fresh concrete must be cured properly, and curing must be applied as early as possible. Ultra BOND EX- 404 disperses the cement particles effectively in the concrete mix and hence exposes a larger surface area to the hydration process. This effect is used either to increase strength, or to produce high workability concrete, or to reduce the cement content of concrete or to retard the setting time of concrete.

PRECAUTION:

Ultra BOND EX-404 does not fall into the hazard classifications of current regulations. However, it should not be swallowed or allowed to come in contact with skin or eyes.

Please wear suitable protective gloves and goggles. Clean in any splash on the skin with water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water, and seek medical advice. Seek medical attention immediately if swallowed, do not induce vomiting.

Storage: Up to 12 months in manufacturers sealed containers stored in a cool dry place and away from high temperature.

Shelf Life: 12 months from the date of original packing. Reseal the container after use and ensure the product is stored as instructed on the label.

Ultra BOND EX-404 is a unique combination of a new generation super plasticizer based on poly carboxylic ether polymer, with a long lateral chain. The electrostatic dispersion mechanism considerably reduces the water demand in flowable concrete. Ultra BOND EX-404 is supplied as a light brown liquid, instantly dispersible in water.
